What types of projects does Sun Living handle?
Sun Living specializes in custom furniture manufacturing, interior design & build, hospitality and commercial projects (hotels, villas, resorts, cafes, retail), and export services to global markets. Whether residential or large-scale commercial, every project is handled with the same precision and care.
How long does production take?
Standard production time is 5–10 weeks from order confirmation and deposit receipt. Custom or large-scale projects may require a longer timeline, which will be clearly communicated at the time of quotation. We prioritize quality over speed and will keep you updated throughout production.
Can I customize dimensions, materials, and finishes?
Yes — all our products can be fully customized. We accept bespoke designs based on client specifications, modifications of existing designs (size, material, finish), and entirely new designs for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. Technical drawings and material samples are provided for approval before production begins.
What are the payment terms?
Our standard payment terms are 50% deposit to confirm the order and begin production, and 50% balance payment prior to shipment. For large-scale or project-based orders, alternative terms may be arranged. Production will not commence until the deposit is received.
What shipping methods and Incoterms are available?
We offer Premium Sea Freight (FCL/LCL) and Priority Air Freight. Available Incoterms include FOB (standard), CIF, DDP (fully handled delivery to your location), and EXW. Our team will assist in selecting the most efficient and cost-effective shipping solution for your project.
What wood species and materials do you use?
We work with Grade A teak (Tectona grandis), engineered wood, various hardwood species, metal structures (steel, aluminium), and a wide range of upholstery fabrics and finishing options including duco, stain, and natural finish. Every material is carefully selected for durability and aesthetics. We also accept client-specified materials for custom projects.
How do I report a defect or make a warranty claim?
Notify us within 7 days of identifying the issue. Provide photos or videos of the defect, your order reference, and a description of the usage conditions. Our team will review and respond promptly. For shipping damage specifically, you must report within 3 days of receiving the goods with photographic documentation of both the damage and the packaging condition.
Can I visit the showroom or arrange a factory inspection?
Yes — our showroom is located in Bali, Indonesia. Visits are welcome by appointment. During production, we also offer photo and video progress updates upon request. Clients are welcome to arrange third-party or in-house inspection before shipment, and a final quality check report can be provided.

All import duties, VAT, and local taxes are the responsibility of the buyer unless agreed under DDP terms. We strongly recommend full shipping insurance for all international orders.
Teak Wood Care
Material
- Clean regularly with mild soap and a soft brush
- Apply teak oil annually to maintain natural colour
- Allow to weather naturally for a silver-grey patina
- Avoid pressure washing — it damages wood fibres
- Store cushions indoors when not in use
Aluminium Care
Material
- Wipe down with damp cloth and mild detergent
- Rinse thoroughly after exposure to salt air
- Touch up powder coat chips with matching paint
- Avoid abrasive cleaners that scratch the finish
- Check and tighten bolts seasonally
Fabric & Cushion Care

- Spot clean with diluted soap and water
- Sunbrella fabrics can be machine washed cold
- Air dry fully before storage to prevent mildew
- Use covers during extended periods of disuse
- Avoid bleach — it degrades UV-resistant coating

Every custom order is a collaboration between our clients and our craftsmanship team.
All custom orders may include bespoke designs based on client specifications, modifications of existing designs (size, material, finish), and fully customized furniture for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. All specifications must be clearly defined and approved prior to production.
Clients will receive drawings, material samples, or finish references for approval. Production will only begin after final written approval is received. Any revisions after approval may affect pricing and extend production timelines. Sun Living is not responsible for discrepancies once designs are approved.
All quotations are based on approved design, material selection, quantity and specifications. Prices are valid for the period stated in the quotation. Any changes in scope may result in price adjustments.
Alternative terms may be arranged for large-scale or project-based orders. Production will not commence until the deposit is received.
Standard production time is 5–10 weeks, depending on design complexity, order volume, and material availability. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, but we will always communicate proactively.
Due to the use of natural and handcrafted materials, variations in wood grain, colour tone, and texture are expected. Slight differences between samples and final products may occur. These are not considered defects but part of the product’s uniqueness.
Changes after production has started are not permitted. If exceptionally accepted, additional costs will apply and the delivery timeline will be adjusted accordingly.
Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Cancellation before production may incur design and material procurement costs. Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been prepared.
Custom designs provided by clients remain their property. Sun Living reserves the right to use project documentation for portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Sun Living is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control including natural disasters, government regulations, or supply chain disruptions. All transactions are conducted based on mutual agreement, professional business ethics, and international trade standards.
By confirming the order and making payment, the client agrees to all terms and conditions stated above.
